Up to 4% of Amazon revenue typically sits in eligible reimbursements that are never claimed. The gap comes from refunds issued where the item was never returned, lost or damaged inventory that was never credited, and refund fraud where tracking shows delivery but the customer claims non-receipt. All three are claimable, and all three have to be found and filed.
Claim windows vary by case type and Amazon has shortened several of them in recent years. This is why manual recovery underperforms: by the time a discrepancy shows up in a monthly reconciliation, the window has often closed. Shipherd monitors continuously and files inside the window.
